Back in the 90's, I decided to breed cockatiels. Back then, the birds were very much like the wild cockatiels. They were big and beefy, a very sturdy bird.

After many years of life, I am now retired and have decided to hobby breed. The mutations have flourished over the years, and while many are stunning, breeders are losing sight of what size a cockatiel should be. I am seeing small, almost dwarf-like cockatiels, due to over breeding, inbreeding, and poor breeding. This realization has pointed me to my path when breeding cockatiels.

I am so sad to see the normal gray becoming more and more rare. It is my mission then to produce bigger and healthier normal gray cockatiels, as well as standard mutations, such as the lutinos and cinnamons. I want to bring back the "wild" in our cockatiels. All babies are hand fed by me for happy, healthy, and loving birds.
